Background Information about Israel

At the end of World War II the British withdrew from the area we know as Israel, and the UN divided the territory into Jewish and Arab states. There has been tension in the region ever since, and this tension is what most people think of at the first mention of Israel. But there is so much more.

Consider the wonderful experiences to be had while touring Israel. There are over 270 km of coastline. The beautiful and varied terrain offers snow-capped mountains and just miles away, the lowest elevation on the planet, the Dead Sea. There are a plethora of bird species and some of the most interesting flora and fauna to be seen anywhere.

Whether you are interested in the temperate areas of the north or the Negev desert, there is a destination in Israel for your group.
