Israel is a small country. You can travel end to end in a day, and from east to west in some places in less than an hour. Its geography allows visitors to see a lot in a short time. And when it comes to nature, it offers many different bio-environments from the snow on Mount Hermon to the lowest place on earth at The Dead Sea, with the Mediterranean Sea, the Judean and Negev Deserts, the semi-arid coastal plains and much more. Each area has unique flora and fauna.

And when it comes to birds, Israel is second to none. With over 180 different species per square kilometer recorded, no country offers the bird spotter enthusiast such an amazing opportunity. A recent trip noted 154 different species in only FIVE days …. and they only visited the north of the country!!
